Overview

The Standard Hydrated Form of Copper Sulphate

Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate is copper sulphate in its most common, stable form — a bright blue crystalline solid formed when five water molecules bond to each copper sulphate molecule (CuSO₄·5H₂O). It is the base material from which our Crystal and Powder products, and all six of our application grades, are produced.

Pentahydrate is highly water soluble, non-flammable, and contains approximately 25% elemental copper by weight — the figure most customers use to calculate dosage, whether for a fertilizer blend, a plating bath, or a feed premix.
